Joining Victoria Teachers Credit Union is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3.  

Follow the steps below to:

To become a Member you will need to complete a Membership Application, Identification Form and Certification Form for Individuals. To complete this step, choose the most convenient option for you from the list below:

Order a Membership Pack by phone
Our friendly Member Service Consultants will explain everything you need to know about opening an account and will populate part of your Membership paper work for you. We will send you a pack containing everything required to become a Member. Simply call a Member Service Consultant on 1300 654 822 to be guided through the joining process.

Download Membership Forms
Select the Membership type you wish to open and download the appropriate applications:

	Adult:	1. Membership Application 2. Identification Form 3. Certification Form for Individuals
	Child or Teenager:	1. Membership Application 2. Identification Form 3. Certification Form for Individuals

Note: These forms are required for the account holder and/or all signatories, however if a signatory has been identified through an existing Victoria Teachers Credit Union account these forms are not required.

When you have completed your forms, enclose a $10 cheque or money order for your Membership share (refundable when you close your account) and post your application to: Victoria Teachers Credit Union, PO Box 338, Camberwell 3124.

Apply in Person at one of our Branches
To become a Member at one of our branches, you will need to bring sufficient identification (refer to Identification Form below), your tax file number, and a recent pay slip or group certificate.

Having all of your banking at one organisation makes banking easy.

Once you become a Member we will provide you with the relevant letters and applications to enable you to transfer your banking to your Victoria Teachers Credit Union account. You can also download a copy of the letters and applications below:

			Transfer your Direct Debits to your Victoria Teachers Credit Union account
			Transfer your Direct Credits to your Victoria Teachers Credit Union account
			Transfer your Salary to your Victoria Teachers Credit Union account

After you have completed Step 2, you can close your account/s at other financial institutions.

We will provide you with a 'Close Your Account' letter or you can download a copy below. This letter needs to be completed and sent to your financial institution.

			Close Your Account at another Financial Institution letter

Before closing your accounts, you should ensure that your salary, direct credits, direct debits and any other account activity has been transferred to your Victoria Teachers Credit Union account.
