We believe that ethical, caring, community-minded principles are just as important in financial institutions as in the education system. That's why we are involved in a range of not-for-profit programs and activities to benefit the education community.

Our support takes many different forms, including donations, sponsorships, partnerships and specialised support services. We encourage initiative and reward excellence through a number of grants and awards, including the Victorian Education Excellence Awards, our own Teaching Initiatives Program, and the School Councillor Awards.

When dealing with our own Members, we pride ourselves on our compassionate approach to those experiencing financial hardship. We provide a free financial counselling service, and have offered interest-free loans for flood, drought and bushfire victims. Community support and co-operation is a cornerstone of our philosophy.
