Receiving foreign currency from an overseas account now provides better benefits to our Members due to our dedicated service to provide indicative incoming exchange rates and the acceptance of up to 16 currencies. An incoming overseas deposit allows you to receive foreign currency into your account and converted into Australian dollars (AUD).

Note:

  • It is essential to include 'for further credit VIC Teachers (full Member Name & Number)' in the payment notes.
  • When sending funds in a currency other than AUD, please advise the sending Financial Institution that the transfer must remain in the same currency and NOT converted. This can also be included in the ‘Payment Notes’. Victoria Teachers Credit Union will arrange the conversion to AUD through our partners at American Express.
