Executive Management

William Wolke has been the Chief Executive Officer of Victoria Teachers Credit Union since 2002 and has more than twenty years experience in financial services, both in Australia and overseas.  The Credit Union has become a progressive and modern organisation in its chosen market under his leadership.

William’s career has included general management and director appointments in a mutual building society, retail and commercial banking, financial planning, as well as leadership roles in management consulting and the accounting professions.

He holds chartered accountancy and master of business administration qualifications.

William is a Fellow of the Australasian Mutuals Institute, a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and was elected to the Board of Abacus, the industry body representing the Australian mutual sector, in 2009.

Adam Alsbury joined Victoria Teachers Credit Union in 2000 and has experience in marketing, business development, e-business and business strategy in the software and financial services industries. He has over 15 years of service in emergency and community services in both a volunteer and professional capacity. Adam completed a Masters of Business Administration at Melbourne Business School and is recognised as a Certified Practicing Marketer (the peak professional benchmark for marketers) by the Australian Marketing Institute.

Glenn Borg joined Victoria Teachers Credit Union in October 2007. He has over 15 years experience in human resources and people management, with particular strengths and expertise in employee and industrial relations, workforce planning, occupational health and safety and organisation development.

His formal qualifications are supported by his membership of the Australian Human Resources Institute and Financial Services Institute of Australia.

David Percival joined Victoria Teachers Credit Union in July 2002 and has over 28 years experience within the financial services industry. He is responsible for leading the finance function which includes accounting, treasury and credit control. David has been a CPA for over 15 years and completed an MBA at Deakin University in 2005.

Mark Thomson has managed the Information Technology function at Victoria Teachers Credit Union since 2004. He has more than 20 years experience in the financial services sector in areas of Information Technology operations, eCommerce, project management, risk management, and strategic planning.

Elsbeth Torelli has been with Victoria Teachers Credit Union since 1983, leading the finance functions for over 10 years. She has held other management roles within the organisation and has previous experience in the legal industry. She is actively involved in the Credit Union industry as a divisional councillor for the Australasian Mutuals Institute.
