Victoria Teachers Credit Union is dedicated to reducing the impact we have on our environment. We have implemented many sustainability initiatives and will continue to do so in the future.
Some of our initiatives include:
- eSlate (our monthly online newsletter) to reduce our impact on the environment.
- eStatements - Members can receive statements online rather than traditional post.
- Our brochure range, newsletters and promotional materials are printed on recycled or carbon neutral stock.
- We are using more electronic channels for our promotions to reduce paper usage.
- Information is emailed to Members enquiring about promotions and information.
- Encouraging Staff to reduce their use of paper and installing duplex printers.
- Recycling of paper and other recyclable items.
- Support for sustainability projects in Schools and Preschools through our Teaching Initiatives Program.
Future initiative:
- The development of online forms to reduce the use of paper applications.
